Recently off his 3rd place performance at Who’s Number One and World No-Gi championship.
We talked about his submission win over Orlando Sanchez, his upbringing in Ghana and Tokyo, his recent move to Detroit and some of his thoughts on the health of the sport.

How I’m feeling this morning…
What are you doing that is improving your life?
What are you holding onto that you need to leave behind?
How are you leaving your mark?
My goal is to help others along their journey. Jiu Jitsu is just a microcosm of life itself. Some days are amazing and we feel on top of the world, others are lousy and we want to crawl under a rock. Most of the time we are learning from others and studying the art, other times we are teaching what we know to our peers.

Amanda showed tremendous technique, patience and timing when taking on the much bigger opponent. Her ability to control position and outwork again was inspiring.

2021 2021 Who’s Number One Championship on this weekend!
So many story lines from favorite in the 185lb division being out on injury. who ends up taking it?
first time competing since 2019 . Can the 2015 ADCC champ make a splash in a division that doesn’t have the 🤴 competing in?
Another heavyweight to watch out for is . A fan favorite and athletic freak is looking to make a splash this weekend and potentially launch himself into super stardom. 💫
I’d be remissed if I didn’t mention the budding rivalry between and that boiled over in their match at the Road to ADCC in July if this year. Do we get to see the rematch? If so, does it go any different from last time?
