Spring is finally here and the skiing is fantastic. Put on some sunscreen and go explore some trails that are new to you!

Are you looking for a new place to ski close to home? Check out the Beach Lake ski trails in Chugiak! Probably without a doubt the best signed trail system in the state with lots of beginner and kid friendly options. NSAA regularly grooms these trails to perfection. Thanks !

It’s a winter wonderland out there, so much new snow!! Expect soft trails until we get a few more days of cold temps and grooming. After that, skiing should be epic!

Ski conditions are variable across town. Kincaid is a mixed bag of ice and snow on the lighted loops and excellent skiing on the snow making loop. Hillside has no ice but is cold and hard with some occasional organic matter mixed in.

Ski lessons start Dec 4th (pending suitable conditions)! I will be offering a limited number of ski lessons this winter so be sure to sign up for my email list to be the first to know when the booking calendar goes live! E3AK.com.

This winter was not what anyone hoped for in the snow department. Between poor snow conditions and new Mom life I was never able to offer lessons. Here’s to hoping next winter is more “normal”!

Lessons update 1/24: This winter has been crazy! No lessons until we get significant natural snow and/or NSAA is able to make more snow when it gets cold again.

Read for details: It’s been quite the winter! I am waiting out the current weather expected for this weekend before I’m willing to put anything on the books for lessons. It is very important to me that I provide quality instruction to facilitate a positive learning environment. For this reason I am somewhat selective of conditions I will teach in order to provide you with top notch service! Thanks for your understanding and stay tuned for more details!
