Far too many women are trying to survive on nutritional fumes and then wondering why they aren’t enjoying life + every event takes 3-5 business days to recover from 🥲

There was a period of my life where I thought being “disciplined” meant eating as little as possible and if I’m honest, I got really good at ignoring my body under that guise.

Hunger, exhaustion, brain fog, irritability, no libido, constant fatigue - those were all things I wrote off as normal and thought were just part of the process of shrinking into a body that maybe I’d *like* or possibly respect

And then I got smaller and realized I didn’t actually feel better and I didn’t actually like or respect my body anymore than I did before.

I didn’t feel strong or alive or more connected to myself - I was just existing in this constant low-energy state trying to earn my worth by being in a smaller body

And now, on the other side of that, it’s wild realizing how much of my life got better when I started actually fueling my body properly. My workouts feel stronger, my mood improved, my libido returned, my brain literally works better - I became a better partner, friend, coach, daughter, and honestly just a happier human in general

Bc my body finally had enough fuel to support the life I was asking it to live. And I don’t say this to knock on deficits or having a weightloss goal, but simply to serve as a reminder that our bodies are not meant to be lived in deficits for years at a time.

That’s why comments like “that’s a lot of food” don’t hit the same anymore - yeah, it’s a lot more food than I used to let myself eat. And my body, mind, performance, and quality of life are all better bc of it 🫶🏻

Your body isn’t asking for too much, it’s asking to be supported 🩷

If you’re tired of living in the cycle of trying to eat as little as possible while still expecting your body to perform at its highest level, my coaching is built to help you learn how to fuel yourself in a way that actually supports your goals + your life

I think a lot of women are exhausted because they’ve been taught that taking care of themselves has to look extreme to “count.”

So they bounce between hyper-discipline and burnout, between being all in and completely checked out, and between trying to overhaul their entire lives overnight and then feeling guilty when they can’t sustain it.

Meanwhile the habits that actually change women long term are usually a lot less glamorous than the internet makes them seem.

✨ Eating enough protein
✨ Sleeping more
✨ Lifting consistently
✨ Going on walks
✨ Learning how to stop spiraling after one imperfect day
✨ Building routines that support your real life instead of fighting against it

I get that that stuff may not be trendy, but there’s a reason behavioral coaches have been saying for YEARS that the basics WORKKK 🥲

And honestly I think there is something so very powerful about a woman who learns how to care for herself consistently instead of constantly trying to punish herself into changing, because she knows she deserves more than she’s giving herself and is ready to stop fighting for dear life to be happy in her body

If you’ve been feeling like you’re just not sure how you got here and don’t want to spend another week/month/year trying to reverse it all on your own, DM me “HABITS” and I’ll send you my free Fatloss Reality Check to help you figure out what’s actually keeping you right where you are 🩷

“I just don’t like vegetables so I don’t eat them”

Cool so you like paying your bills?

You like going to the dentist?

You like receiving reactive healthcare for things that could be prevented by just caring for your body?

At some point it’s time to drop the childish behavior behind “well I just don’t like vegetables” and start finding ways to make them tolerable because as adults there’s just things we need to do.

There’s literally thousands of ways to prepare veggies that make them taste incredible and honestly even mask them in other foods too - please, for the love of having a healthy body, go hop on Pinterest for a few

Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by hollywoods definition of beauty your entire life 👀🙋🏻‍♀️

I’m exhausteddd by the narrative Hollywood and tabloids put out about what “toned” looks like. Because the reality is, “toned” is simply having visible muscle definition.

I remember spending most of my formative years watching women like Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears, Hilary Duff, etc be touted in the media for being the “ideal” with their toned bodies when in reality they were probably battling really disordered behaviors surrounding their bodies.

Wanna know the secret to actually having “toned” arms, a healthier body, a better metabolic rate, being able to keep up with your kids, feeling strong and capable?

Lifting heavy weights & eating food to sustain your body 🫶🏻

Building muscle is quite literally THE hack for living a better life

So here’s your reminder that women’s bodies will ALWAYS be a trend and it is in fact appropriate to just say f**k it and do what makes you feel like your healthiest self 🩷

And if you’re ready to BUILD a body that makes you feel like THAT girl, my DM’s are open 💅🏻

I can usually tell why someone’s body isn’t changing within five minutes of talking to them and it’s rarely just because they’re lazy.

Most women I talk to are actually trying really hard, but the problem is that they’ve spent years collecting random wellness habits off the internet without ever learning how to build a body strategically.

So now they’re under-eating, overtraining, skipping recovery, living off caffeine, restarting every Monday, and wondering why they feel exhausted, puffy, hungry, and stuck.

And unfortunately their bodies are responding exactly how bodies respond to chronic stress, inconsistency, and lack of proper fuel.

Fat loss and body recomposition stop feeling impossible when you stop trying to “earn” results through suffering and actually learn what your body needs to perform, recover, and change.

That’s why I care so much about education in my coaching - once you understand the why behind what you’re doing, everything changes 🩷

Imagine what your physique, energy, and confidence could look like with an actual plan instead of trial and error.

If I had a dollar for every time I’ve told a client she needs to up her intensity …

And to be fair, I used to be guilty of it too. Afraid of failure, maybe afraid of embarrassing myself or taking up space or making an ugly face. But one of my favorite things about the gym is that it’s a space where failing actually rewards you!!!

Your last few reps should feel uncomfortable and form might even slow down. You should have moments where you genuinely question if the weight is coming back up. That’s the whole mf point! Muscle is built through tension, effort, and progression, not just showing up and going through the motions for an hour.

Most women are far more capable in the gym than they think they are, but they’ve spent years being taught to fear effort, so they stop the set the second it burns, the second it gets hard, or the second they feel uncomfortable.

But thennn they sit and wonder why their body never changes despite being “consistent.”

Consistency matters, but consistency without intensity just turns into maintenance.

You don’t need to annihilate yourself every workout, but you do need to start being honest about whether you’re truly pushing yourself or just completing the workout.

I teach women how to train with intention, fuel their bodies properly, and finally create results that last. If that’s the season you’re in,

📲 my DMs are open.

I know this post might surprise some people because on the surface, these types of products seem incredibly helpful: more data, more insight, more “awareness” about your body. And to be clear, I don’t think body composition scales are evil or completely useless.

But I do think a lot of wellness technology gets marketed with a level of certainty that the science simply doesn’t fully support.

Most of these scales are using estimation models that can fluctuate based on hydration, sodium, carbs, inflammation, stress, workouts, menstrual cycle phase, and even the time of day, yet people are looking at these numbers like they are hard facts about their bodies.

That’s the part that bothers me most.

Because I’ve worked with enough women to know that a lot of people are already hanging on by a thread emotionally when it comes to their bodies. They’re already overanalyzing every fluctuation, questioning whether they’re failing, and tying their self-worth to numbers they barely understand.

I’m not interested in contributing to that just because a sponsorship pays well.

If I promote something, I want to genuinely believe it improves someone’s life, not just increases their fixation on themselves. And while I think technology can absolutely be helpful in some contexts, I also think we’ve reached a point where people are outsourcing their trust to devices instead of learning how to actually understand their bodies.

Do you think wellness technology is helping people become more informed or more anxious?

I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts in the comments!!!

I think somewhere along the way a lot of women started confusing neglecting *themselves* with being “strong.”

You spend so much time showing up for everyone else that eventually you stop showing up for you at all. Then one day you look in the mirror and convince yourself the problem is your body, your face, your weight, your age, whatever, when half the time you’re just disconnected from yourself.

But those feelings can start so shift so quickly when you finally do literally just one thing that makes you feel human again. It truly is a freakin snowball effect into everything else!!!

Wash your hair
Go for a walk
Put on the outfit you save for “special occasions”
Cook yourself a real meal
Go lift
Open the curtains
Wear the lipstick

Tiny acts of self care have a way of creating momentum and momentum has a way of bringing you back to yourself.

Anyway, please stop treating yourself like an afterthought 🫠 the world wants to see you shine gf

Let’s be honest, when I first started my weightloss journey 6 years ago, if I tried to “listen to my body” and eat intuitively, I’d exist exclusively off chips, the Cookout drivethru and cheerwine 🤓

You cannot “listen to your body” if years of chronic dieting, emotional eating, under-eating during the week, overeating on the weekends, and food guilt have completely distorted the signals you’re trying to listen to in the first place.

Somewhere along the way, the internet started pushing the narrative that tracking food is toxic and to have a good relationship with food, you’ve gotta eat intuitively, but real quick: how the hellll does one know how to fuel their body if they’ve never been taught or learned what fueling their body even looks or feels like to them?

Understanding protein, calories, and hunger cues is not disordered. For a lot of women, it’s the first time they’ve ever actually had data instead of just living off pure vibes and winging it, being left confused as to why nothing works and they can’t stand to look in the mirror.

The goal isn’t to track every single morsel of rice until the end of time, but there is an education phase everyone needs to go through to finally understand what food does for them

Real food freedom comes from understanding yourself well enough that you don’t have to guess anymore.

Comment “AWARE” and I’ll send you my tracking tips so you can start building awareness around food and YOUR body 🤍
