Well that was fun! Thanks to all who came out and hucked at yesterday's Jailhouse Roc at Peters Creek. Tournament report and fees were turned in last night, so we'll see how quickly the ratings become official for those of you who care about such things. Good afternoon friends. It looks like we'll be playing the Jailhouse Roc with good weather tomorrow so good for that! Check-in for all players pro and am is from 8:45-9:45am, followed by a players meeting and Round 1 will start at 10:15am. Hole assignments are up on the PDGA event page. Happily, we will have sandwiches and apples for all at lunch between rounds. And, the ace pot is currently at $515, so make sure that you bought in. See you tomorrow morning.

Update as of Monday evening, August 3rd: good news from Dan Allen! The ace pot wasn't hit at Spirit of 76 so the Jailhouse Roc ace pot has been bumped by $225. So, with registrations so far, the ace pot for Saturday will be (at least) $340. Come and do your best!

Greetings friends in the midst of this wonderful summer weather. Have fun at Meier Lake or Salmonfest or anywhere, really, this weekend. Hello all! Good news.... concrete pour starts today at Davis DGC. We are looking for several volunteers to keep watch over fresh pads Weds and Thurs evening. I will be there til early evening and give a tour of new nine holes for those interested. Please post or contact me.
