Wow! What a gorgeous day to be at a field trial! Retriever Club of Alaska held the Open Stake for our 2nd Spring Trial at beautiful Point MacKenzie, AK today.

A huge thank you to all of our field help and judges. Todd Adams and Lee Herskowitz set up some challenging tests.

Results are:

Reserve Jam to Dave McGuire and Eider

4th place to Harry Strahle and Riot

3rd place to Mary Bixby and Whiskey

2nd Place to Scott Anderson and Anne

1st place to Harry Strahle and Preacher

That’s a wrap! SPRING FIELD TRIAL #1 ended today with the Amateur stake. It was a nice day to watch dogs run.

Thank you all who carried holding blinds, helped with the rebird, ran test and bi dog, shot, threw, picked up or put down. We appreciate all of you.

It was an opportunity to meet new friends and get to see old ones. Awesome to have Chuck bring Phil Locker out to enjoy the day.

A great big thank you to our field help from Fairbanks! Todd Adams, Jim and Cindie Little, Frank Ganley, Dave McGuire! These folks from ALWAYS volunteer to help us out.

A special thank you also to Savannah who drove 180 miles one way from this morning to help. She responded to my FB request for help and drove all that way. Wow!

Results are: 1st Gus Lamoureux and Doxy, 2nd Place Mike Matey and Clyde, 3rd place to Greg Hoffman and Novi. Congratulations!
