To be completely honest, the pictured Josh doesn't work at Dive Alaska, but you couldn't tell from how hard he was working in this photo during his Tech 2 class with Gideon Liew and teammate Esh Vckay, along with some *incredible* support from Jeremy Lilly, Kyle Fagerstrom, and the Alaska Dive Search, Rescue, and Recovery Team.

Well, you don't get to see that every day....

While headed out spearfishing in Resurrection Bay on Saturday, we passed the Mexican naval training ship, ARM Cuauhtรฉmoc, a steel barque coming into port for a four-day goodwill visit in Seward, Alaska.

It's hard to see in the video, but there are sailors on the masts pulling in the sails and rigging, looking very much like a Cirque de Soleil show.

Very cool boat.

And we know us boats.

We is boat people.

You know, you can get paid to do this? Like, a living wage?

Waiting on a boat ride to go explore some underwater caves that have seen less human eyes than the surface of the moon, and just... chilling. Feeling lagoonbrious.

It's a hard job, but it has its benefits. This was a nice benefit.
