Some rediculous fast racing tonight! Everyone posted 20 seconds or less with a top time of just over 12 seconds! Is sub 12 possible!?

What are goldsprints? Think stationary drag racing, on bicycles. It's so much fun that the bicycles
Goldsprints are a 15 to 30 second head to head "drag race" on stationary bicycles. The bicycles front wheel is removed and the fork is bolted to a steel structure while the rear wheel is free to spin on rollers. The rear is then connected to a computer and a projector to provide real time visuals of who is winning the race. Crowd participation is highly encourage weather it be cheering or good na

Saturday morning.
Meet at Dark Horse Coffee Co. Downtown at 646 F St.
Depart Dark Horse at 9am (they open at 8am).
We will head to the Chester Creek Trail system, hang a left, then find some wooded trails to explore!

*As always, this is a no drop ride for every level of rider!

Depart Kaladi around 8ish (they open at 7am).
Ride up to the trails, do Bowling Alley and maybe a couple detours, then back down to Kaladi!
Special prize for whoever can catch a snowball while riding. 😉

The Trek Store is puting on another movie night!
Come watch “Klunkers”, a movie about the origins of mountain biking. There is no cost to attend and popcorn is FREE! Movie will be shown at the Trek Bicycle Store: THIS SUNDAY, March 20th, at 5:30pm!
“Long before the mountain bike entered our global consciousness, the cycling enthusiasts of Northern California’s Marin County rode modified pre-WWII bicycles down the slopes of Mount Tamalpais. They developed their bikes through rigorous field-testing, often risking life and limb to do so. Some of these cyclists were Category-1 road racers looking for a new way to train during the off-season. Others were simply fun-loving hippies looking for a new way to commune with nature. Their early bikes were scavenged from dumpsters and junkyards. It was from these humble beginnings that a multi-billion dollar industry, a form of recreation for the masses, and an Olympic event, were born.
