Hammerman Off Road Triathlon & Duathlon

This is what you have all been waiting for. Registration for the 25th Anniversary of the Hammerman Triathlon and Duathlon IS NOW OPEN! Click on the link below to register. Race date is Saturday, July 11th.

This year, we have some exciting changes to the best offroad triathlon in the state to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the race. We are now offering both a Sprint and Long Course option for you to choose from with all new bike and run courses. For those looking for something at little shorter, check out the Sprint option, dishing up a 500 yard swim, an exciting 9 mile mountain bike using a mix of everything the park has to offer, and then a 2.2 mile run to cap it all off. For those who want the whole enchilada, those not afraid of a challenge and those looking to get the most bang for their buck, we present the Long Course. This will use the same swim, bike and run as the Sprint, but you get a double dose of each. Two laps of the swim (1000 yards total), followed by two laps of the bike (18 miles), then two laps of the run (4.4 miles).

We are still fine-tuning the courses and won't have them dialed in for certain until we get a chance to go out and ride them once the snow melts. The Strava routes linked below should be pretty close and will be updated if/when any adjustments are made.

Thank you to everyone who came out to play with us yesterday! I think we probably set a record for the number of moose seen on the course. I think we are up to at least 5 different locations where people ran into moose!

While we rest and recover, you can check out the preliminary results. We will post the final results once we have looked them over and made any corrections.

2025 Hammerman Triathlon

Another fun bike course preview! Took a lake temp from the dock while we were there... for anyone curious... it is currently a balmy 66 degrees!! :-)

URGENT! - We need volunteers for the Hammerman on Saturday. Sign up at the link below!

We really need some more volunteers for Saturday. We have lots of spots available. If you are available and can lend a hand, we would greatly appreciate it. It's a fun way to spend part of your day, cheering on racers and helping put on a fun and safe event.

Some key things we really need people for are:
Run Course Aid Stations - Great job for a couple or family
Bike Course Aid Station - Another great spot for a couple or family, but could be done by one person if needed
Bike Course Sweep
Parking Lot Control - Most of this happens before the event starts, so you can still watch the race or bail out once the race gets going.
