We are in need of Volunteers for the Trent Waldron race 5/29/21, Bike leads, bib pickup, race set up, race clean up, handout medals, announcer, course turnaround. The Anchorage Running Club partners with Anchorage Young Cancer Coalition a local non profit cancer group where this race proceeds go.

Trent Waldron will be held live and in-person on May 29, 2021! Our course will remain the same great, fast and flat run enjoyed by TW participants for years. For the 4th year, we're partnering with Anchorage Young Cancer Coalition to raise money for their programs. It's also the first qualifying race for the Sleeping Lady Challenge.

This race kicks off the Anchorage running season and is a great warm up for Mayors Marathon and the Anchorage Run Fest. Sign up today and stay motivated-you have nearly 75 days until race day!

Notice of Election-Anchorage Running Club Board of Directors

Three board members will be elected to a 3-year term on the Anchorage Running Club Board of Directors. Interested candidates may get on the ballot by emailing a short bio describing your interest in running/walking and why you would like to be on the board. Bios must be received by Thursday, Feb. 18th to be placed on the ballot. Election results will be announced Thursday, February 25th during our annual meeting.
The Anchorage Running Club is looking for energetic, committed people who are excited about running, to join the board of directors. You must be a resident of the Municipality of Anchorage and a member of the Anchorage Running Club when applying to be on the ballot.

RunFest Painted Rock Hunt
Saturday August 15 through Sunday August 23, 2020

In better times, we would be celebrating RunFest and racing together. We thought a hunt for painted RunFest rocks would be fun.

RunFest Rocks will be distributed along the race courses used during RunFest Downtown, Coastal and Chester Creek trails (no rocks on downtown streets).

Find a rock, take a photo with it, message the photo to Anchorage RunFest on Facebook Messenger and hide the rock for someone else to find. You may only enter drawing once, but keep looking for more rocks with friends- we hid 12 of them.

Everyone who send us photo with RunFest painted rock gets a drawing entry for a gift card:Skinny Raven, Humpy's, Kaladi's, Double Shovel, Cynosure and REI. Bonus: you earn an extra entry if your photo shows you wearing a RunFest shirt! Happy Hunting!
