The Alaska Dirt Racing Experience

I’ve made another executive decision. I am going to let go of two of the hobby stock cars we have cheaply. This is for several reasons. 1. There just isn’t enough time in the day and I flew too close to the sun thinking I could get so many cars on track with the limited physical help we have, there’s only 2 of us. 2. This way the cars can hopefully find their way back on track sooner. 3. This will hopefully ease some of the strain we have on resources. The red Camaro and white nova are up for grabs, $500 each. They’re rough project cars but with some work they’ll both go again, can’t build a cage for near that money. They’re being stored in Wasilla. In the future as cars come up for us we will make decisions case by case and let cars go accordingly.

The motor in Billdozer let go tonight. We are on the search for a new one before next week

This weekend we hosted 3 different drivers in Billdozer. Had several almost wins, and a lot of promising results for the future of the car. Thanks to everyone that made this car possible, now that it’s good to go I’m on to the next one!

We are ready to go and it’s a hot one! The re-debut of Billdozer being driven tonight by ADRE board member Robo Copley, shaking it down to make sure the car is good to go! This car has been resurrected in memory of our good friend Bill Rodasky, we know he would absolutely love to see his old ride back out on track bringing smiles to people’s faces after about a decade of being sedentary.

Made an executive decision and repainted Billdozer! All signs point to go for a shakedown run tomorrow to make sure all is well and nothing falls off! #36

BILLDOZER HAS BRAKES!!!!!!!! I think I’ve learned my lesson, from now on, if we pick up a car with no working brakes I’m replacing every single line from the get go. Thanks to Tru$t Fun’d (Tristian) for his help now this beauty has it all! And racing rained out so we aren’t missing yet another day! Almost time to hop back to the 1 car and get it ready to show and go in front of possibly its prospective new owners at the end of the year!

If anyone’s got time to help figure out Billdozer’s brake issue this week hit me up. We can’t seem to get past this hurdle and we aren’t quite sure why

Thanks to Dale Brummer project BilldoZer has its new nose. Unfortunately with the cancellation of test and tune, the first race day will be the test of all of our work on the car, which was 80% rust remediation, 10% simplification, and 60% spending money. This car will hit the track in honor of our friend, and as a tribute to all of the people that make racing a family.
