This winter we bought a few more minis and it turned out to be a little bit of a lemon of the deal but 2 of our minis have been on track most of the season and we are still hoping to get a few of our stock cars back for next season. The black celica with big ugly wide hips is now the 14 driven by Eli Putnam and he’s been doin a great job while we try and make the car work better for him. We hope to return next year with a rotating cast in our hobby stocks providing we do actually get them back, and more than likely a rotating driver lineup in Bill Dozer. Still a month of the season left here in Willow, come on out and support your local dirt tracks

Picked up the two newest members of the family today, bought em during the winter but they were inaccessible. Huge thanks to dad, the Putnam’s and Mr and Mrs Wilhoit for the work, we earned these two today. Once home, operation de ugly the celica commenced by removing the homemade sheet metal wide body kit and reaffixing the rear fenders, we freed up the stuck rear end, removed the ultra dangerous low budget street car pretending to be a race car seat, worked on getting the engine freed up, and started working on the plan. As always a huge thanks goes to Linda Lee for all of her absolutely invaluable help, including buying these cars, unfortunately I foolishly overpaid for them based on someone else version of the condition of the cars, but what can you do, we are here now and we will make the best out of it.

We’ve got a couple of donated fire suits to hand out from Dale Brummer, we’d like to help out some folks new to racing and get em in some good lookin safety. Let me know what you need for a size and we will see what we’ve got

I’ve made another executive decision. I am going to let go of two of the hobby stock cars we have cheaply. This is for several reasons. 1. There just isn’t enough time in the day and I flew too close to the sun thinking I could get so many cars on track with the limited physical help we have, there’s only 2 of us. 2. This way the cars can hopefully find their way back on track sooner. 3. This will hopefully ease some of the strain we have on resources. The red Camaro and white nova are up for grabs, $500 each. They’re rough project cars but with some work they’ll both go again, can’t build a cage for near that money. They’re being stored in Wasilla. In the future as cars come up for us we will make decisions case by case and let cars go accordingly.
