The hibernation hangover is real😴
A black bear was spotted near Fish Creek in Lynn Erie Park, settling in for a long snooze about 30 feet from the Coastal Trail. It slept peacefully for 3 to 4 hours, unfazed by the people biking nearby.

Small update on the Coastal Trail conditions 🚲 ❄️
Parts of the trail were snow-broomed earlier today, leaving a much thinner layer of snow behind. There are now long stretches of asphalt along the way.
Miles 2–3 still need a pass though — there’s still a fairly deep slush section there.
Stay safe out there!
Thank you to our wonderful customer for sharing your moments and pictures with us!

Trail condition updates - The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail has been scrapped along with the Campbell and Chester creek trail now.
We will just need the spring weather to thaw out remaining snow surface.
We would estimate The Coastal Trail is approximately 85% snow free.
Thank you very much !

Spring trail conditions are holding up well as temperatures continue to rise. We’ll monitor how to the trail continues to be. For the meantime the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail is about 95% snow free.
Get out and enjoy the outdoors!
