Anchorage Grappling Academy is a nonprofit martial arts co-op offering mostly Brazilian jiu jitsu and submission grappling classes. Our instructors are volunteers who share a passion for martial arts. We are a community, not a business.

If you pre-ordered your free member adult hoodie, it's ready for pickup! (Youth are expected to arrive next week). For anyone who wasn't a member yet at that time, fret not, we have extras available at cost ($35).

Advanced Gi Brazilian jiu jitsu class at Anchorage Grappling Academy (all levels welcome) 6pm-730pm. Advanced class is a student directed class with troubleshooting and Q&A.

New class at Anchorage Grappling Academy, technical sparring! Fridays 7pm - 8pm. Right after Friday FUNdamentals 6pm - 7pm.

Advanced Gi Brazilian jiu jitsu class taught by Brandon Bibee. Brandon is going on his 13th year as a jiu jitsu black belt. All levels are welcome to attend. Advanced class is structured more like an open mat focused on student directed trouble shooting, Q&A, and practicing/drilling.

Anchorage Grappling Academy is a non profit martial arts co-op offering mostly Brazilian jiu jitsu / submission grappling classes. As a co-op we keep our membership fees as low as possible and our excess funds go directly back into our community. We have some big things planned for 2026. This week at Anchorage Grappling Academy we will be going over our second week of X guard, with this week's focus being on the leglocks that are available and adjacent to X guard.
