SKAN 24 Nordic Ski Race

Wow!

Midnight madness, pancakes, prayer flags and pillows.

There will be a waxing station at the race. We have a few volunteers who will be around to help you wax, and there will be some donated wax but if you can please bring your own.

Hope everyone is as jazzed for the race tomorrow as I am! Looks like it is going to be a beautiful sunny day. Please be sure to bring sunscreen and drink lots of fluids. Also Bring some food to share for the Pot Luck. There will be vegetarian chili and pork sandwiches. For those of you that will be around for Sunday morning be ready for a Pancake Breakfast!! Please be sure to thank all the wonderful Volunteers for all their help. we could not do this without them.

WOOOHOOO!!!! Thanks everyone who helped with bib pick-up. It was great to see everyone excited to ski for a ridiculously long time. If you were not able to get your bib today please visit the timing building in the stadium on Saturday between 9-9:30. Your bib will cost you a cup of coffee (just kidding). Also pre-race meeting is at 9:45 AM in the stadium and the race will start at 10. If you have any questions, please feel free to send me a message. See everyone Saturday!!!!

Bib pick up is at REI today and begins at Noon. If you need to register this is your last chance to sign up for the Greatest 24hr ski race in Alaska!

Remember online registration for this years SKAN24 ends today!!! If you miss it you can register at Bib pickup tomorrow at REI from 12-7PM.
