With 17 teams entered, our 20th Alaska Summer Solstice Tourneys will be more than *DOUBLE* the size of our previous largest tourney (8 teams). Also, for the first time ever in Alaska, we may have a break out! Until now, we have never had more than one division in a class.

After helping us celebrate our 15th solstice in 2021, look who's coming back up to join the party and help us celebrate our 20th Alaska Summer Solstice Tourneys -- 2-time NAFA Judge of the Year (2017 and 2023), Jonathan Bescher!
Jonathan says Alaska flyball is #1! The feeling is mutual! Many thanks to Jon for making our 15th Alaska Summer Solstice Flyball Tourneys so special. The flyball world benefits greatly from Jon's service as a member of NAFA's Board of Directors in addition to all of the work he does every year at CanAm. We can't wait to meet up again soon!

This will be Maija's second gig as an invited CanAm head judge!...(as if there weren't already enough reasons for flyballers to head to Indy this year). Way to go Maija! 🥳👏🎉

We had what may have been our largest work crew ever for spring cleaning at Mountain View Lions Community Park (three folks had to leave before the photo)! We're looking forward to practicing outdoors next week. Thank you to Mt. View Lions Club of Anchorage for providing the park, including a field for our practices. Thanks also for the tasty snacks during cleanup. 😋
Bina is our newest up-and-comer to test her skills as 7th dog during tourney warm-ups. She passed with an A+!

Delta had a monumental multibreed debut! She was the height dog (jump 9") for our record setting team while also earning her MBD, MBDX, and MBDCh titles (500 multibreed points).
Dallas is learning to control her approach into the box, which has led to a better box turn and faster times. Here she is running a new line-to-line personal best of 3.871 seconds!
