I’m back from Mexico for a couple of weeks and I’m selling the rest of our Alaska Surf Adventures and Bear Glacier Boards gear. Viva la Mexico!

I’ve lived in Alaska since 1971, but as I get older my body doesn’t like the cold weather. So, my wife and I made the choice to sell the Viking, and move onto 85 degrees and light offshore winds. It’s time to close another chapter and move onto a new chapter: the Liska Surf Compound, in Mexico.

My wife and I sold The Viking to Crazy Rays Adventures (congratulations Ray and Brenda Nix!). I’m grateful to have had David Fox working with me for the last 10 years, and he and Crazy Ray’s Adventures will be taking over the helm and honoring all of my bookings for the remainder of 2023. So, anybody concerned about your bookings for 2023, no need to worry, you’re in good hands.

That’s a wrap! Last boat trip of the year. The boat is winterized and I made it to Mexico. I’ll be back in May for spring bear hunts and fishing trips and to enjoy the AK springtime 🏄‍♂️

Broke the boat record this week for halibut on a salmon pole, 170 pounds! Over a one hour battle by myself before I was able to stick it with a harpoon. Also got a pile of bucks with a hunting group!
