A little dirt, a lot of learning, and some memories made along the way! 🌾🦌

Thank you to all the parents who signed their kids up for our Youth Field Prep Day and trusted us to spend the day with them. We hope the kids had as much fun as we did and walked away having learned something new!

Days like this are about more than just getting ready for hunting season. They’re about getting kids outdoors, teaching them valuable skills, building confidence, and passing along a love for the outdoors to the next generation.

We appreciate everyone who helped make the day possible and every family who came out to be part of it. We’re already looking forward to the next one!

Young Hunter Field Prep

Cold Bore Outfitters, in partnership with Patriot Ranch Precision, is excited to offer a FREE hands-on field prep event for young hunters ages 7–15!

This isn’t about sitting in a classroom all morning. We want them outside, learning, practicing, and building confidence before they head into the woods.

Our goal is simple: give the next generation of hunters the skills, confidence, and respect for the sport they need to start off right.

Participants will work on:
🎯 Firearm safety and responsible handling
🌲 Safely moving through the woods with a firearm
🏹 Real-world shooting positions using hunting props
🦌 Animal-shaped targets at distances from close range out to 300 yards

⏰ 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 Red Level, Alabama
💰 FREE to attend
⚠️ Limited to only 10 students
👨‍👩‍👧 A parent or legal guardian MUST remain present with each participant for the entire event.
