Lake Hartwell Fishing Charters is owned and operated by Chip Hamilton. Chip is a full-time, professional guide who exclusively fishes on Lake Hartwell.
Captain Chip is a USCoast guard Certified Captain. He has been guiding since the spring of 1994. After several years of building his clientele, he was able to, in 2003, make guiding on Lake Hartwell his full-time job. Rest assured, when you book with Chip, he is up to date and knows what the stripers and hybrids are doing on Lake Hartwell. Chip does the fishing forecast in South Carolina Sportsman

It was an absolute joy to take out my Dad, my son Matthew, and grandson Knox for a Father’s Day trip. Knox caught his biggest fish, and we boated almost 40 by 9:30. Cookout coming with fried and blackened fish on the menu!

Thanks to Captain Nathan Key of Shad Slinger guide service for letting me and captain Eddie help with his large multi boat group today. I had the amazing opportunity to fish an 86 year old Dad and his 4 sons. Having this man onboard and watching him catch fish including a massive hybrid and a nice striper was so dear to my heart. I have a special place inside me for older folks, as my Grandpa is the reason I got hooked on hybrid fishing when I was 4 years old!!!!

It was great to have my ole buddy from NC James Norton and his friend Isaiah down today for some screaming drags!!! Amazing Christian brother fellowship was the highlight of the morning even though we caught over 30 hybrids and stripers and a bunch of spotted bass as a bonus!!!!

Lake Hartwell fishing charters was super excited about having Mike Fowler and the good folks from Faith Baptist Church of Taylors. It was a lot of fun making memories and catching tons of fish. Good Friday was a great Friday as always with the Landers and the Crowes. There 6th annual trip with us on Good Friday with a nice limit plus of hybrids and stripers and some Spots for the bonus.

Great day on the big pond. Little crazy with all the boats but still managed to get it done and with some hammers screaming the drags!!! Happy Easter!!!
