We went to Rhome this past weekend to the Liberty Showdown @ KAM Kartway ~Go Kart Dirt Racing in North Texas~!
We had a great Saturday night in our JR 3! We started pole outside in the heat, and finished second to set us up nicely for the main lineup ! Went into the main starting second row outside with 13 karts on the track, and he was able to maintain that position to come out with a fourth place finish!
His JR2 kart we didn’t have much luck with all weekend. We raced both heats Saturday & Sunday but when it came time for main we had mechanical issues both nights.
Rolling into Sunday, we started off strong once again in our heats with a 4th place finish in JR3 and a 2nd place finish in JR2. Going into the JR 3 main we started 4th row inside, and had a few costly mistakes that lead to a subpar finish.
Overall it was a great weekend, and we are seeing improvements weekly! It’s always a blast being at the track with friends and family doing what we love! Big thank you to the Trey Giles Racing family for hanging out with us and feeding us we appreciate y’all so much.

JKR in the 22J finished his 1st year and the 2022 racing season at KAM Kartway ~Go Kart Dirt Racing in North Texas~ this weekend competing against some of Texas best young racers in both the JR2 and 3 Outlaw Kart classes.
Jaxson continued to show improvement as a driver and competitor this weekend performing much better than his first attempt at the track earlier this year.
No doubt 2022 was a learning year and he and his team did just that. Along the way he has made a lot of new friends, raced multiple tracks in TX and OK, enjoyed a few wins, and had his share of wrecks!
Now it’s time to enjoy the Holidays, practice, and get ready for the 2023 season starting in February!
First night of the Gobble Shootout at Atp Motosports in Abilene, TX! It was cold, but it was fun!
Jaxson is racing his JR2 & JR3 Outlaw karts this weekend. Started the night out with the kart not being able to start for hot laps, fixed the spark plug and was ready to go!
Heat 1 in JR2, Jaxson started in the pole position, and finished 3rd!
Heat 2, he started in the back and worked his way up a couple spots.
We should start in the middle of the pack tonight for the main in JR2.
Heat 1 in JR3, Jaxson started outside second row! He was able to get the lead and maintain it after the only caution of the race!
Heat 2 he started in the back, and was only able to go up one spot after being spun out twice!
We should be starting in the front row tonight in the main!

As many of you know we started this racing journey this past April, and it’s quickly become our life. We spend just about every weekend at the tracks, and always leave looking forward to the next weekend. Jaxson loves everything about racing, and has big goals for himself. He puts in the work, and is always trying to squeeze in practice time even if that means staying up until 3AM after a race and getting in extra laps!
That being said we are looking for sponsors for our 2023 season!! We will be visiting local business soon, so if you or anyone you know may be interested please get in contact with me! Every little bit helps keep this kid doing what he loves, and reaching his goals.
Jaxson is currently projected to run in approximately 60-70 racing events during the 2023 year and on most of those nights he will be pulling double duty racing both his JR2 and JR3 kart. This past year Jaxson has placed 1st in many events and has earned a Top 3 podium finish in approximately 80% of his events, the other 20% of the time he has either been spun out, crashed, or ran through a fence.
Over the past 5 years youth racing has exploded onto the scene and these kids are highly competitive racing all over the country in various sanctions ultimately hoping to be the National Champion. Racing Outlaw Karts not only provides Jaxson an opportunity to learn how to compete it also instills life lasting traits that will assist him to develop into a successful young man such as discipline, courage, and communication skills. Jaxson not only races his Outlaw Karts he also is highly active in the racing preparation. Jaxson assist with setting up his chassis, prepping his tires, and overall kart setup. Outside of racing Jaxson is currently involved in the Permian Basin Youth Football League and maintains the A-Honor Roll at Andrews Elementary School.

Jaxson started 2nd and quickly found his way to the #1 spot, he handled his kart very well and lead the race all the way up to the caution. Very proud of how well he raced tonight.. the kart was fast, he held his line, just came up a little short with a 2nd place finish!
