When a community comes together, incredible things happen.

Our Andrews community has always shown up for one another, and now it’s our turn to rally around Coach Williams.

An online t-shirt fundraiser has been created to help support Coach Williams during her extended hospital stay. Every shirt purchased will directly benefit her and help ease the burden of her medical expenses, allowing her to focus on what matters most…healing.

We are especially grateful to Steven Liles of Sideline Sports for creating the t-shirt design, organizing this fundraiser, and sharing Coach Williams’ story. Steven isn’t from our hometown, but he stepped up without hesitation. It is a powerful reminder that sports have a unique way of bringing people together and uniting us into a much larger community. The relationships built through athletics often extend far beyond city limits, and this is a beautiful example of that.

This morning, we are mourning the loss of Eloy, a photographer from Denver City. Our hearts are with his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched.

Eloy, thank you for your kindness and your support. You have photographed and captured some of the Lady Mustangs’ best moments. We will cherish every single photograph you took. You will be deeply missed.

We lift up Coach Williams to You today. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon her as she recovers from surgery. Give her strength with each passing day, bring peace to her heart, and surround her with Your comfort and love. Bless her doctors and caregivers with wisdom, and may she experience a full and speedy recovery.

Coach Williams brings 15 years of coaching experience, including 6 years serving in head volleyball coaching positions.

Coach Williams shared the following message:
“First and foremost, I am grateful to God for allowing me the opportunity to lead and mentor this volleyball program. I also want to thank my family for always standing by my side and for their constant love and support throughout this journey.
I am excited to lead successful student-athletes both on and off the court while continuing to build a culture rooted in hard work, accountability, discipline, and teamwork. I believe athletics teaches valuable life lessons that help athletes grow into confident leaders within their schools and communities. My goal is to help players reach their full potential while fostering a competitive, positive, and family-oriented environment.”

The AHS Volleyball Booster Club is proud to recognize our senior volleyball players as the recipients of the 2026 Volleyball Booster Club Scholarships!

This marks the second year the Booster Club has awarded scholarships to graduating Lady Mustangs who have demonstrated dedication, leadership, character, and commitment both on and off the court.

🏐 Tobi Hinson will attend Texas Tech University where she plans to pursue a degree in Architecture.

🏐 Caroline Gibson plans to attend UT Austin in the fall and will be pursuing a degree in Public Affairs.

🏐 Taylor Lowder will attend West Texas A&M.
Taylor is seeking a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences and hopes to one day become an occupational therapist.

These athletes have represented AHS Volleyball with pride and have made a lasting impact on our program!

Congratulations, ladies! We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and can’t wait to see what your futures hold. 🖤💛🎓

A big congratulations to senior Taylor Lowder on her induction into the National Honor Society and la Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica!

Taylor has been a tremendous example of what it means to excel both academically and athletically. Her work ethic, leadership, and commitment have set the standard for those around her!

We’re also excited for what’s ahead as she continues her journey at West Texas A&M!
