Safety wired and a chain tensioner, but I still lost the oil pump first session on Sunday. Luckily, the crank doesn't seem to be damaged!
The working plan is to fix the oil pump with an upgraded shaft, throw some fresh(er) bearings in there and run it.
What's the worst that could happen?

Getting ready for Nasa @ Cresson in March!

The clutch didn't feel great last trip out, so I pulled the trans to check it out.

The wear pattern on all surfaces is concerning to me.. the clutch disc is more worn on the outside diameter than the inside.

Since this whole setup was originally cobbled together from random parts laying around the shop, I think it's time to replace the whole shebang with known-good parts.

Any recommendations for an e46 m54b30 track day car that hasnt quite made the jump to track only car?
