We had a great time at volleyball camp this week and last! Great groups who came in, worked hard, and got better! 💪🏐 these kids were coached by not one but TWO professional volleyball players! Both Jaali and Alyssa have been playing overseas for the past few years!

The AVBA 12u teams basically had their own private volleyball camp with me these past two days! Lots of fun was had. And their coaches left with 3 pages worth of drills they can use throughout their season. Most importantly, AVBA director Paul brought cookies! 🏐🍪

That’s a wrap for the 2023 Jaali Winters Volleyball Camps! We did three camp sessions this summer for grades 4th-6th and 7th-9th: All Skills Camp, Hitting & Defense Camp, and Serving & Passing Camp. It was awesome to see their improvement over the summer, and it’s always fun to come back every summer and see how much they have grown as people and players! Some of these kids have been coming to camp for the past 3 or 4 summers now, and wow do I feel so lucky that they keep coming back to hang out with me! See you all next summer I hope :) Helping you all learn about this fun game that I love brings me more joy than you know. 🏐☺️🤍

We are SO excited to have as an Icon! Madison is a talented setter who just finished up her freshman season at Drake University. Madison's team had a historic season, finishing second in the Missouri Valley Conference, and ending as the runner ups of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship in true Cinderella-Story fashion. Madison is from Story City, Iowa and played 4 sports in high school. Her athleticism is remarkable, and she is looking forward to coaching the setters at the Ankeny Centennial Positional Camp this summer! Please note that this camp is only open to those who are enrolled in Ankeny Centennial school district.
