Since my freshman year at Michigan in 1997 when we also beat Washington for the National Championship, I didnβt think I would see such an incredible team win like this again. Way to go Harbaugh and arguably the best team in Michigan π history!!!

To my partner in life, work, parenthood, and well beyond, Happy 20th Anniversary!! ππ₯°π₯³π₯ Our journey has been paved with many twists, turns, bumps, impossible hills and steep descents, and yet, we are still here, together through thick and thin. I am so grateful that I am able to share my life with you. Our laughter has sustained us, regardless how old the jokes. Youβve been my best friend and the love of my life, each and every moment. You are an amazing father and truly the rock that holds us all together. You are my home. I cherish all our memories, and I hope to create many more!! I love you always!! β€οΈπ₯°π¦ππππ»π΄πΌπͺ¬ππ

After 4 weeks off from leg workouts, I finally felt like myself in the gym and able to add back in lower body on week 5 of Growth .tribe!! π₯³
I am still very aware of how careful I need to be with squats and deadlifts, so Iβm hyper focusing on the common cues I give my clients on back-loaded barbell squat.
1. Setting the bar across upper back is the first important step. I act like Iβm putting on a shirt as I approach the bar, find the shelf along my traps, lock in my back, and grip the bar like Iβm trying bend it.
2. Hips push forward to lift the bar and head remains neutral with spine. Find some spot on the floor ahead of you to focus on. Donβt watch yourself in the mirror, as tempting as it may be.
3. Take a few steps out and set your feet shoulder-width apart and grip the floor with your feet.
4. Big inhale on the descent as the hips and glutes push back and lower to hip crease. Keep the spine and wrists neutral! Donβt be afraid to send that b***y back!
5. At the bottom, push through your gripped feet and activate your glutes to assist the quads and push your back even further into the bar as you release a big exhale.
6. Stand and repeat the movement and the cues in your head. Stay mind-muscle connected & focus all the way through! Feel the power of your body to move weight. Iβ€οΈππ»
