This spring and summer season I have been able to make it out to see( if they choose to keep playing HS baseball ) ALL off the former A’s play for their respective HS teams.
Even a couple of summer league games.
Very cool to see these young men continue their baseball journeys… Hope the A’s had something to do with it👊🏾

This past weekend these young men played their last baseball games with me as their head coach.
We ended the year the same way as we have the last three years,at Cedar Points sports force park.
Using bats that only two players have played with this year (-3’s ) and four pitchers going 6 innings ( for the first time this year ) A PERFECTLY executed su***de squeeze play for a come back win in the bottom of the last inning to win game one. And a come from behind two run bottom of the 7th to force a tie in game three. We entered bracket play undefeated.
Winning the first game of bracket play with two pitchers combining for a two hit shut out ( one going 6 innings on fifty pitch’s 😳 )and the umpire telling me post game “that was the best IF defense I’ve seen all year”) we lost game five in the semifinals to the eventual champions( a High school team ).
We finished 2nd in points out of 16 teams,
had two players close the park Monday night, and made countless memories along the way.
I will miss every single person that made up each version of Ann Arbor A’s Green for the last five seasons for numerous reasons.
The card says it all…

Last night A’s 14u Green were down 10-4 in the fourth. Then proceeded to score 13 unanswered runs in two innings for a 17-10 victory.
As we say… “you are NEVER out of a baseball game..”
Ann Arbor A’s 14U Green flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the fourth, scoring eight runs on three hits to take a 12-10 lead.
On to a tournament at Siena Heights this weekend LETS GO!
