Throw back to the driver training event some of our members attended earlier this summer in Huntington, Indiana! Thank you American Power Boat Association and Indiana Outboard Association for hosting! Our future drivers got to learn about the intricacies of racing and put their skills to the test in a regatta. ⚡🌊

Back in April, we made our first resin infusion composite part, a flat board layup to be used to rebuild the cockpit sides of the D-Stock hydroplane.

Thank you to and for the discounts and sponsorship on the supplies used to make this part! Also, special thank you to Harrison from for helping us out and teaching us during this first infusion layup!

Stay tuned for updates on how we are using this part on the D-Stock!

Sneak peek of our powertrain getting showcased at PEP! Due to the ongoing University EV project team operations freeze, we have not yet been able to build a custom battery for the boat, but we were still able to show off our powertrain functionality with a small test battery. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and asked questions at PEP, it was great meeting new people and we can't wait to come back next year!

Get excited for more build updates coming soon and hopefully some on-water testing over the summer! ⚡️🛠️

Last week we took the D-Stock down to Portsmouth, Virginia for the 2026 Promoting Electric Propulsion (PEP) competition to showcase our D-Stock! Due to the ongoing University EV project team operations freeze, we have not yet been able to build a custom battery for the boat, but we still had a great time networking with other teams and companies, along with showcasing our powertrain functionality with a small test battery. Thank you to Mike Briscoe and the whole PEP team for setting up and running a great event, we can't wait to come back next year!

Stay tuned for more build updates and hopefully some on-water testing in the coming months!! We have some big things in the pipeline to be announced in the future... ⚡️🛠️
