DETAILS: Open practice for Judo clubs from all over to come together. This assembly is a space to share Judo techniques, knowledge, and foster mutual welfare and benefit for all participants.

Great Wednesday class this week - Victor and his Drop Seoi Guruma.

Neil Simon was the head instructor of the Ann Arbor YMCA Judo Club (which changed to Karigane when we moved to MLM) for many years, and was my sensei when I first moved to Michigan. He was a great example of giving your time and energy generously to Judo and I am better for it. Rest in peace, Simon Sensei.

On behalf of Shojin Judo, we want to let all of those in the Judo Community know that Sensei Neil Simon has passed away peacefully this morning in his sleep. We thank you all for those that have visited and communicated with him in these last few months as we know this meant so much to him. His legacy of Judo will continue on with Shojin and all of those that have been touched by him.
