The RCC is the brainchild of 4 High School Track & Field/Cross Country Coaches from the state of Michigan that wanted to create a medium where we can post and share our conversations with other coaches and historians of the sport of Athletics.

6/11/17 - Back from in-season hiatus, we open the summer with an outstanding roundtable discussion addressing the recent ruling that came down from the MHSAA last week imposing restrictions on Michigan athletes using times in-season as marks for New Balance Outdoor National and other out-of-season competitions. The ruling on the association website states: "Michigan Student Athletes may NOT use any time, height or distance achieved in the high school season or the MHSAA Tournament for entry in to competition without loss of eligibility."
