Hey everyone 👋
I’m Adam, and I’m proud to step in as the new owner of CoachMeFit Ann Arbor.
I’ve been into fitness for over 20 years. At first, I’ll be honest — I started lifting because I thought it would help me “get girls.” What I was really chasing, though, was self-esteem and a way to feel better about myself.
Over time, fitness became so much more than that. It was the one constant in my life when everything else felt chaotic. On days when I wasn’t living in a way I was proud of — when I didn’t even care if I woke up the next morning — working out still gave me a sense of productivity and control. In many ways, it kept me alive. It was a gift I didn’t think I deserved at the time.
That’s why I coach today. I want to give that same gift to other people — the strength, confidence, and belief that comes from showing up for yourself.
CoachMeFit has been serving Ann Arbor for over 20 years. My vision is to honor that history while bringing in fresh energy, new programs, and a stronger sense of community. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing stories, tips, and updates as we build something special together.

🎥 **Exercise Highlight: Monster Walks with Dylan!** 🏋️♂️
Hey CMF fam! It’s Dylan, your personal trainer, here to guide you through the Monster Walk exercise. This move is a fantastic way to target your glutes, hips, and thighs, helping to build strength and stability.
👉 **How to Perform the Monster Walk:**
1. Place a resistance band around your legs, just above your knees.
2. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and slightly bend your knees.
3. Take a step forward and out to the side with one foot, then bring the other foot to meet it, maintaining tension on the band.
4. Continue to step forward in a zig-zag pattern, feeling the burn in your glutes!
🔥 **Pro Tip:** Keep your core engaged and maintain a slight squat to maximize the benefits.
Try this exercise next time you work your hamstring. Make sure you bring your hips up as you roll the foam roller towards you.
