Large thoroughbred training operation looking to add an additional full-time assistant trainer to the program!

Main responsibility is managing the breaking, training, and sales prep of yearlings - 2 yr olds.
This will be a long-term, permanent position for the right person.

Elderwand aka Potter - 2018, 15.2 hands, unraced tb gelding, located in Ocala, FL.

No injuries or surgeries, too slow to race, 60 days let down, restarted by a professional for 30 days.

Going well WTC and lightly started over ground poles and cross rails. Very brave and willing and straightforward ride, nice correct gaits. More go than whoa but very sensible and quiet ride. Ready to be finished in any ring!

No buck, bolt, rear, or spook. Hacks out around the farm well, not bothered by cows.
Loads and hauls well, very sound, great feet, currently barefoot. Clean tight legs.

Can be a bit mouthy/baby-ish on the ground since he’s a young 3 yr old. Has some attitude around feeding time in his stall. Otherwise, easy to handle and uncomplicated.

Suitable for a young rider/experienced amateur in a program - not suitable as a first horse as he’s young and green.

Great home a top priority!

“Biscuit” - 2015, 15.3 hands, big b***d, unraced TB gelding, bay.

Owned by a professional eventer. Lovely mover, strong correct dressage foundation, started over fences, schooling full 2’6” courses, still considered green but very willing, brave, and straight forward.

Super brain!!! Very amateur friendly, could be used in a lesson program, could also be a husband-type horse with more miles.

Kind and friendly personality, loves attention and grooming, easy to handle, great to clip, tie, haul, turnout.
Very quiet and sensible under saddle. Safe to hack out, very steady in a busy environment, more of a kick ride.
Good feet - Currently in 4 regular shoes while in full work, can just be in fronts depending on level of work.

Can stall walk out of boredom – Can be controlled, does best with ample turnout. Currently stalled for 10 hours a day.

Sound with no maintenance – No concerns about passing a vetting.

Top priority is finding a loving, lower level, amateur-friendly forever situation!

Trained but unraced, retired sound and clean, has had 60 days let down. Will likely continue to grow and fill out, she’s a big bodied gal!

Recent restarted by professional eventer, seems to be very level headed, straightforward type, hasn’t offered anything naughty, has easy changes, super mover!

Can be a little mareish with ugly faces in her stall, but otherwise easy to handle. Should be an easy restart for a competent rider with some professional guidance.

Good flexions and hoof testing in basic PPE. In four basic shoes currently while in training, no corrective shoeing needed, can easily go barefoot behind as well.

Very reasonably offered for quick transaction - Will increase with professional training.

Owned by a professional eventer. Nice mover, strong foundation of correct flatwork, naturally uphill and balanced and light, soft mouth, easy flying changes. Good form jumping, very honest, careful, athletic. Can be fresh/excitable such as landing off a big jump, but no rank or naughty/nasty behavior.

Lightly competed at novice & training level eventing and 1.0m jumpers, potential through prelim eventing and/or 1.10m jumpers in the right program.

Good for turnout in a herd or alone, quiet and sensible. Stands tied well. Good feet.

Has some personality quirks - Sassy/opinionated personality, very mouthy, but not mean spirited. Can mildly weave in stall if startled/nervous - not all the time.
