Our ALL STARS just spent a magical weekend in California 🏖️🌇🌉⛺️
ELLIE WILLIAMS 🦅 in all three events,
BECCA YEDID 🐙 in slalom,
KATYA DECKELBAUM in slalom, and
SIMONE FLETCHER in jump,
the dream team 😻🤩🤞 ong, no one stood a chance 🤼‍♀️

Team Midwest 👙pulled through with a VICTORY

Michigan’s own ELLIE got 3rd 🥉 overall and 2nd 🥈 in jump with her pb of 75 feet 🦶

What a great way for our all stars to end their time at Michigan, all while looking pretty in pink 🌸💕🌷💞💗. Going out with a pinkalishous 🐷bang💥🪃, one could say.

Our grads are cooler than yours.
It’s crazy to think of the team without this group of amazing people and incredible skiers. They have left such a mark on this team. We can’t wait to see all the great things these grads do off in the real world.

University of Michigan Waterski participates in seasonal tournaments and weekly practices where funding is necessary to travel, maintain equipment, and participate. Any amount would be incredibly appreciated as we prepare to put our boat in the lake this April!

Fun fact about him is that his favorite event is the 4th event AND he skis best in hot pink short shorts 😁 👌 we are very grateful to have Alex taking care of our lovely boat this year and can’t wait to see him shred it upppp in the fall 🤙🤙🤙 That’s all for OBoard!!! Hiya! My name is Annabel Filippini and I am from Denver, CO. I am a junior in the School of Information studying Information Analysis! Fun fact about me - while I love driving the boat I successfully propped the rope 4 times this season 😬 whoops 😊 Anywayssss, I am SO SO SO excited to be running the insta and making merch for the team this year!!! Next up we have our INCREDIBLE treasure CLAIRE SCHAFER!!! She is a junior studying public health! Claire loves to run, adventure, and travel around the world!! She is the third Schafer on the team 🤯 we are so thrilled to have claire managing our finances this year!!! THANK YOU in advance!!!

Next up we have our lovely madame secretary Talia Laskooooooo!!!! Talia is a freshman from Chicago, IL studying architecture. She loves to hike, climb, and wipe out mid slalom course 🤩. Surprisingly Talia grew up a wake boarder but we have since converted her 🙏🙏🙏 we are so lucky to have talia and can’t wait to see her THRIVE this season! 💌

NEXTTTTT ON DECKKKK we have our other badda$$ captain GABBY LEIKERRRRR 🙌🙌🙌 gabby is a junior studying public health and gender and health. She is from Waucedauh, MI (the UP - makes sense 😊)!!! She started skiing when she was two years old on Lake Superior. Her absolute FAVORITE part of the season is jumping in LAKE MICHIGAN!!! Catch gabby before skiing to run you through a BOMB warm up! The Gabby-Ellie captain team is going to be unmatched this season so get ready peeps!!! 🥳🥳🥳

NEXT UP!!! Introducing one of our lovely captains ELLIE (Willie) WILLIAMS!!! Ellie lived in Baton Rouge for 16 years before moving to Brighton, Michigan. She is currently a junior studying environmental and international studies with minors in business and oceanography! Pretty sweet! She has been skiing since she was 5 (woah) but 4th event will always be her favorite. She’s also incredible at the other three events so that’s very impressive! ANYWAYS, we cannot wait to hangout with ellie on the dock this Fall! 🤙💌
