To celebrate Small Business Saturday, we gave our team $$ to spend at their favorite local shops.

Coach Brian headed to one of his new favorite places, Bløm Mead and Cider and picked up a bunch of 4-packs for the bar at home. (tart apple and ginger pear ciders are tied for his favorites)

Bløm (say Bloom) meads and ciders are light, ridiculously refreshing, not too sweet and made from all Michigan ingredients. No fake flavors or ingredients. Just real food + alchemy to make the drinks.

Coach Erin made a second shopping trip to local coffee legend Roos Roast. She’s a discriminating caffeine critic. It’s hard to recreate the long pull at home, but the beans are dynamite.

Visit Roos Roast on Rosewood, Liberty or at the AA Farmers Market.

Coach Brock hit up The Rocket in Ypsi for some fun and funky gifts for his family.

The Rocket is downtown Ypsi’s most riotous store, stocking funny gifts, off the wall items, candy and board games. The perfect place to go if you have no idea what to get someone for the holidays. You’ll find it there.

Coach Brian picked up member appreciation gifts at One Acre Ceramics in Milan. He went for the mugs, but they also have amazing ornaments, tiles and vases.

We’ve teamed up with Sarah and Thomas several times over the years. They do great work and out members always appreciate having a beautiful piece of art to serve or drink from.
