We are thrilled to read such an amazing article about our 25 years of sustainability work, including planting thousands of trees at BRATS. Plan to come and visit us this summer.

It’s a glorious evening!

Our friend Paul Whitmore, is teaching a weekly Disc Golf class to about a half a dozen students at our BRATS courses on Wednesday evenings. He’s operating through a recreational sports program at the University of Michigan.

Looking for a friend who wants to be near my Disc Golf courses and is going to move into the area. Who can tell me about something under $1500/month that’s within 10 miles of our house in any of southwest Ann Arbor, Saline, or Lodi Township? Should be 2 to 3 bedrooms and no outdoor maintenance needed. Thanks for thinking about this. 👍🏾

The world is an amazing place. I’ve somehow been elected to the World Disc Golf Hall of Fame: “The highest honor in disc golf.” I feel both honored and, frankly, humbled because I have revered the members of our hall of fame as I have learned of them or met them and I know how hard so many other people have also worked along with me at growing this community.

I’ve been a member of the disc golf community for 25 wonderful years of fun & fitness and competition & camaraderie, joined by many of my close family members and literally thousands of friends. And now, in return for having a good time, I receive disc golf’s highest honor? Wow! Thank you WDGHoF members.

There are five of us inductees in 2024 and I am further honored by being included with the other four names on this list, each of whom has made significant contributions to disc golf, There are five of us this year: Terry Calhoun, Mike ‘Hubee’ Hughes, Chris O’Cleary, Leonard Muise and Scott Stokely.

Come and play! Hope you are having a great weekend. Sheila and I have been working very hard! 27 of our BRATS courses' holes, the White 9 and the Red 18 are available for play at Bratsholme Farm, 5171 Waters Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48103; the Blue 9 is being “rested” right now but you can play it at your own risk of lost discs in the rough rough :)

Donations welcomed but no required fee to play or park, ever. All you need to do is contact me and get a tee time. That can be nearly immediate or a day or two ahead. Call or text (734) 883-4407 or message me in the Book of Faces.

All disc golfers have experienced trees that just jump out in front of our discs. There appears to be a new, more aggressive species here in Michigan.
