Gia touched the lives of everyone that crossed paths with her. She was born to be a cheerleader, and that is pretty much when she started. Since then, her love for cheer has grown along with her talent. Gia has been a team member of Shining Stars Rec Cheerleading, Westchester All Stars, Mt Pleasant Wildcats, Westlake Modified & Westlake Varsity. She showed every person what it truly means to "give it your all". She never showed weakness and was determined to push herself beyond any limit. We were in awe of her resilience and admired her will to conquer every obstacle in her way. She was never scared to try new skills and challenge herself. No matter what, Gia showed up everyday with a smile on her face regardless of how her day was going. Never a complaint or an ask for special treatment. Watching her give her all on the nationals mat just one month ago was so special and a moment we will never forget. Gia excelled in both her academics and cheerleading alongside a passion for community service. She lived every day with the spirit of giving, devoted countless hours to raising funds and awareness for childhood cancer support. She spearheaded efforts from a young age and truly made a difference in the world. Her kind and giving soul is something we can all emulate. Westlake cheer will never be the same without Gia, but her impact will last forever. In the short amount of time we've had with Gia she has taught us so much. From Gia we have learned to always be kind, to try our best even when it's not so easy, and to always perform like it counts. Each one of us will make sure her spirit lives on and never stop teaching people to be kind, see the world through her eyes, and love the way she loved. From this day forward forever... Ending Nationals 2024 as 6️⃣th in the Nation

Proud is an understatement. This team came together as one and pushed each other to be their very best. They hit a zero deduction routine in traditional finals, their best of the season, and earned their ranking of 6th in the nation!

Game Day did not end off the way we had hoped, but that is the nature of the sport. It is not just the highs that make a great athlete, it is also the lows. How you accept them, what you learn, and the drive you feel to come back stronger are what shapes a champion.
