There is a first for everything! Master Kang and I had the incredible honor of attending a kindergarten graduation!

​We are incredibly proud to celebrate our amazing students at their kindergarten graduation! Watching them grow both on the mats and in the classroom is the absolute best part of what we do. From building focus and discipline to taking this huge step forward, these kids are proving they have the heart of a true martial artist.

Big milestones and huge celebrations for our Eagle Taekwondo family!

Today, we want to take a moment to shine a massive spotlight on two incredible individuals who are officially graduating: Senior Instructor Gabe and my protégé, Master Jordan

To Senior Instructor Gabe:
Thank you for your unwavering dedication, leadership, and the amazing amount of love you bring to our team every single day. You've been a pillar of strength on and off the mat, helping lead our students to success.

To Master Jordan
Watching you from your Elementary days, grow, push past your limits, and evolve into the phenomenal martial artist and leader you are today has been an absolute privilege.
We are so unbelievably proud of the hard work, discipline, and passion you both have poured into everything you do. As you step into this next chapter, we know you will continue to go far!

Celebrating all the moms out there today! 💐

​One day doesn't seem like enough to show our gratitude for the chaos you manage. From the 6:00 AM "You’re going to be late!" wake-up call to that perfect Kobe! lunchbox toss as they head out the door. From the surprise 12:00 PM "I don't feel good" pickup. Getting them to Tae Kwon Do (we see you, wink wink!), and somehow still finding the peace to tuck them in at night.

​We see you, we love you, and we appreciate every single "hat" you wear. Happy Mother’s Day! ✨

A huge thank you to the Drew family for the incredibly thoughtful gift for Teacher Appreciation Week! 🍎✨ It truly made my day feel so special. I feel so lucky to work with such wonderful students and families. It’s gestures like these that make my job so rewarding!

🥋 Heart of a Champion, Spirit of a Village

Huge congratulations to all our competitors who gave their all at the KTA tournament last week! 🏆

More than just the medals hanging around their necks, we are celebrating the consistent heart and extra training each student poured into this journey. We strive for growth—physical, mental, and emotional—and seeing that "1% better every day" in the next generation is what makes us proudest.

While the Master team was busy coaching and missed taking photos at the event, we made up for it today at our celebration potluck! 🥘

As I lead Eagle Tae Kwon Do, moments like these remind me of what truly matters. Our studio is so much more than a place to kick and shout; it’s a place to build bonds. We are a community—a true village—where everyone belongs.

A Few Special Thanks:

To our teenagers: I am endlessly grateful for how you mentor our younger students. By acting as "big brothers and sisters," you model the kindness and decency we value most. You inspire and guide them in ways I never could alone.

To our parents: Thank you for your constant support and encouragement. Seeing dads who’ve never met chatting in the corner, and moms exchanging numbers for playdates, warms my heart. You are the foundation of this village.

A Special Birthday: We also had the joy of celebrating a student’s 7th birthday with the whole crowd! Her wish? "To earn her Black Belt." We can't wait to help her get there! 🎂

Thank you all for the incredible spread of food! Seeing so many cultures represented through different dishes was a beautiful sight.

I truly hope these moments on the mat become core memories for our students. I hope that one day, they look back with gratitude for the time and investment their parents made in their Tae Kwon Do journey.

Master Kang and I are forever grateful for every student and parent. We take the responsibility of helping you become the best versions of yourselves to heart every single day. 🦅❤️

​Yesterday, we had the incredible privilege of giving back to the community that makes everything we do possible. We are so proud to share that we are officially on track to donate 5x more than when we first started our giving initiatives!

​This testing was extra special for us—we watched our very first student go all the way from a Tiny White Belt to a Tiny Black Belt, then through the beginners' ranks, and finally to a Black Belt! 🥺✨

​We are beyond proud of every single one of you. You’ve shown us that it’s not just about the belt you wear, but the heart, hard work, and incredible journey it took to get there. Keep shining, Team Eagle! 🦅✨
