Wednesday at Wakefield Youth Racers!

The Wednesdays at Wakefield team is excited to offer a course preview ride on Wednesday, May 20 at 5:45 pm for registered junior athletes.

Meet at the junior course start and plan to complete 1 lap of the junior (partial) course led by the amazing W@W sweeps. The start of the race is in Wakefield park by the pedestrian bridge that crosses over 495. You can park on the gravel road leading up to the pedestrian bridge, please keep the road way clear and park on the sides. If you have questions please email [email protected].

🏆 Persevering through an unbelievably rainy summer and a lot of patience we managed to get three races into the history books cementing new podium winners with bragging rights for another year.

🫶 This series wouldn't be what it is without such a positive and inclusive community so thank you to everyone that came out to race or spectate and encourage everyone on.

🙌 Also a huge thanks to all the volunteers that help make this happen year after year. From the registration tent to the crews setting up and tearing down the course, and keeping the Course Marshalls keeping the riders safe, it takes a dedicated team to pull these off.

🌧 Lastly as you have seen the storms have caused some destruction on the trails that needs to be fixed. Proceeds from the photos purchased go back into the Mid Atlantic Off Road Enthusiasts - MORE Wakefield trail fund. Buy some photos that capture your stoke to keep the stoke of local racing alive for years to come.
