LADY ANGLER KAITLIN MORAIS TOPS THE FIELD WITH A 35 INCH WHOPPER
Kaitlin Morais of Annapolis, MD won the 2023 Annapolis Anglers Club (AAC) Fall Rockfish Tournament benefitting the Maryland-based EVAN Foundation by reeling in a huge 35 ¼ inch rockfish (striped bass) during the November month-long event hosted by the AAC on the Chesapeake Bay.
Morais’ winning fish was promptly released following a quick measurement and photo. Of her catch Morais said, “I’m honored to be part of such an important cause. The tournament is a fun and exciting way to make a difference. It’s great that more women are getting out there on the water.”
