Student Career Chat with MWMC
Feb 24th, 2026
7:00pm - 8:00pm
https://dnr.maryland.gov/streams/Pages/MWMC/MWMC-Webinars-and-Workshops.aspx

Please join us for a virtual student career chat and networking session with local leaders in the water, environmental science, and climate fields. Our panel will share insights on their career paths, helpful courses, methods for finding internships and jobs, and discuss pros and cons of different focus areas and sectors of employment. During this session, students will be able to gain broader perspectives on how to apply their skill sets to careers, form collaborations and join a larger community, look at projects more wholistically, explore other ways to get experience in their field, and more.

The career chat is targeted toward high school, college, and graduate students (middle school is welcome to join if desired) and will be a relaxed atmosphere primarily focused on Q&A. We encourage student attendees to come with questions for our panelists.
