In the spirit of the Beagle, this fun-filled nature camp encourages active exploration, questioning, respect for interconnectedness of all the earth, and adventure!

Retiring Senior Minister Rev. Fredric Muir Honored at the Children's Celebration

Dear Camp Beagle Families & Friends,
This Sunday, Oct. 15, 2017, at 11:15am, UUCA will host a "Children's Celebration" for the retirement of our longtime senior minister Rev. Fred.
As some of you may know, Rev. Fred's vision of a "Vacation Darwin School" was the catalyst for the creation of Camp Beagle all those many years ago.
Therefore, for the celebration we are asking Camp Beagle families, friends, and volunteers to come out in Beagle attire (camp T-shirts, bandannas, etc.) to show their love for Camp Beagle and appreciation for Rev. Fred.
As part of the event program, we will cheer on Rev. Fred and present him with our esteemed Two Hands Hero Award as well as a beautiful photo anthology of camp images through the years, facilitated by longtime camp volunteers Ted Hall and Natasha Hitchcock, and sailors.
