I don’t think people really understand the VALUE of foam rolling.
🤯
Yes…it is a piece of foam you are putting on a tight and tender area of your body.
Yes…this will help to hydrate the tissue so that it can move better.
but…
Even more than that,
Look at all of the positions you have to put your body into JUST to do the drills.
There’s little bits of CRAWLING.
There’s some BALANCE.
There’s definitely some STRETCHING & COORDINATION.
Even if we didn’t use the foam roller for “self myofascial release,” just the act of having to stabilize your shoulders, hips, and ankles is a COMPLETELY AWESOME WAY to prep for fitness or to help keep the body “fluid.”

We are living in a world of unresolved trauma and overstimulation from these past few years.
I see it in the eyes of people around me.
This pandemic has left much mental, emotional, developmental and financial trauma in its Wake.
CranioSacral Therapy can help. As we begin the process of unwinding your body from sympathetic (fight or flight) to parasympathetic (rest and repose), we begin to tackle, layer by layer, the traumas our body wants to shed.
Next weekend is my CST2 class, which just means level 2, where I will be learning intra-oral work. I expect to expound upon the deeper connection between the pelvis and the jaw.
Then in a September I will take SomatoEmotional Release 1 - and THAT is where we really begin to bring the physical and the mental/emotional connections together.
I’m loving being on this journey with all of you. Comments/Likes are not telling me the truth about how many of you are on this journey with me. The conversations I’m happening from clients to even with my family at a funeral tell me we are learning together.
And I will be forever grateful for that!
