It's performance season!! We're excited to announce Academy Ballet School's BRAND NEW Original version of The Little Mermaid. Dare we say, the *World Premiere*!? 🐠🐟🐙🪼🦀🐚🪸🧜‍♀️

Congratulations to all of our dancers, ages 5 through 18 who participated in this spring's examinations for the 2025-2026 school year 🌟

The Royal Academy of Dance flew in Ms. Susan Evans for three days, and despite the crossover with Annapolis Film Festival (AND ongoing construction), the examinations went on without a hitch! Thank you to all of the staff who supported ABSA through the process.

And a special thank you to Brenda Lasher for being our hallway support staff for another year while Ms. Lindsay runs music :)

This year we had a unique challenge to overcome as Maryland Hall dance studios were shut down for their big renovation. Thank you to Eastport United Methodist Church and Bates Middle School for hosting us during this time. We also had many classes in Maryland Hall's very own Bowen Theatre!
