By the time LTJG Hannah Walz earned her Navy wings in January, she had already built a reputation for thriving under pressure.

A 2023 U.S. Naval Academy graduate, collegiate national champion triathlete, and now a two-time Armed Forces Triathlon Championship winner, Walz has learned how to navigate two demanding worlds at once, military aviation and elite endurance sports.

Coach’s Corner🏆

In our April ‘26 newsletter, we spoke with Roxanne Rehberg, the head coach of Navy’s very successful club softball team. Taking the role in 2017, she quickly turned Navy into a softball powerhouse, winning two national championships. Playing college softball at the University of Connecticut, Coach Rehberg is a civilian volunteer that receives a small stipend from the club sports department, but puts in full-time devotion towards developing Navy’s Midshipmen.

Navy women's softball is headed to Columbus, Georgia for the NCSA World Series! Action starts this Thursday as #16 Navy faces off against #8 Colorado. Be sure to follow along!

The Navy Baseball Alumni Tailgate was hosted this past weekend!⚾️

Grateful for the alumni who continue to uphold the tradition and legacy of Navy Baseball!

Happy to have alumni back together!🫶

A special thank you to the alumni that returned for the Alumni Reception and cheered on the team for their race against Georgetown!

Great to see Navy men’s tennis alumni last week for their Alumni Weekend!🎾

From attending the Alumni Reception to Alumni Hit to the Star Match, it was amazing to see alumni reconnect with former teammates while supporting Navy men’s tennis for the big ⭐️ victory!

The team takes on Colgate in the Patriot League Tournament Quarterfinals at 3:00 PM today in Bethlehem, PA! Be sure to follow along!

In our December '25 Newsletter, we had the opportunity to sit down with Squash Head Coach Tyler Osborne.

With a win over Vassar yesterday, Navy squash is off to the best start in program history! After winning the USNA Dean's Award last year for having the highest GPA of any varsity sport, the squash team is pushing towards their ultimate goal, returning back to the CSA National Championship.
