Attention all martial artists!! Now is the time for the martial arts community to come together. With all the damage from the weather last night, there are going to be a lot of people in need. I know of some that are part of the TaeKwonDo family that have personally been affected. Put aside differences, forget about what organization your with. Call each other and find out how to do this together.

Dear Instructors, Parents, & Students. One of our Taekwondo mothers passed away last night. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during these trying times. Mrs. Dawn Brown passed away last night at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Brown was a wonderful lady who loved her family deeply. We will all miss her in the time to come. Rest in peace ma'am.

From Sunday April 9

New testing cycle starts tomorrow!! I hope to see everyone in class tomorrow, I've got something special planned. Remember you can now wear your t-shirts in class. Also, we have a competition going on this cycle.....bring a friend to class, you could win a focus pad.

04/03/2017

Dear parents & students,
It's finally here! Testing is tonight! Please remember that all students & instructors need be in a full clean uniform including belt for all formal events. Awards will be Thursday , April 6th at 6 PM. Classes will resume on Monday April 10th.
We will be able to wear this years class shirts in place of the Dobok jacket starting with the new testing cycle. I have has some people asking about another order for shirts. If you do not have one and would like to order one, please get with me. I need to get at least 10 committed orders to have another run made.
Our next testing date is set for Monday, June 12th. That gives everyone 10 weeks to get ready.
This testing and awards are going to be a little different. Mr. Overholtzer had an idea to try at testing so I'm going to have him running testing and awards this time to see how it goes. Even if you are not testing this cycle, I still encourage you to come and show support for your fellow students, parents, and instructor team. I would like to wish everyone testing good luck. See you there.

Dear parents & students,

Awards will be Thursday, April 6th at 6 PM. After the awards ceremony we will have a bring a dish snack time. Please plan to bring something for this event. If you need ideas get with Mr. Overholtzer. Also after awards we will have a short meeting with parents to go over center guidelines and to answer questions you may have about your child's training. I highly encourage you to attend this meeting if possible. This will be one of those rare opportunities to have both Mr. Overholtzer and myself away from the chaos of class. While we are in the meeting the rest of the Instructor team will be in the big room with the students so you will not have to worry about watching them. We'll see you there !

Thanks!

Dear parents & students,
It's that time again! Testing is next Monday, April 3rd at 6 PM sharp for all ranks. I need all testing sheets with belt sizes by the end of the adult class tonight. Don't forget all formal testings require full uniform ( including belt!) and sparring gear( orange & up). Instructors & Black Black judges, full dress White uniforms for this test please. If for some reason you can not be in the dress uniform for testing please contact me to talk about it.

Awards will be Thursday , April 6th at 6 PM sharp. Once again, everyone should be in full dress whites for this formal event.

The new T-shirts have been given out and we can start wearing them in class in place of your dobok top on Monday , April 10th. Remember they are never to be worn in place of your dobok jacket at testing, awards, or any other formal event. I've been asked about doing another order for shirts, so I'll get that set up with a time frame for them.

Thanks!
