Dr. Vince Catteruccia is an internationally known Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation Expert recognized for uncovering hidden sources of physical pain and producing lasting solutions for his patients — without medication or surgery. His natural approach to solving pain is guided by his unique combination of professional credentials including a Ph.D. Dr. Vince is also a licensed neuromuscular therapist. He’s learned from the best in the world, traveling the globe to uncover natural solutions to nagging pain including time in Prague at the renowned Motol Hospital of Rehabilitation and Manual Medicine. During his 30-year career, Dr. Vince is proud to have helped thousands of people end their battles with chronic pain. Today, he lives in Anthem with his wife, Jennifer, and his son, Gabriel, where he works with patients worldwide virtually and in person. Alfred Griffith (Griff) is an advanced rider who enjoys flow, tech, & hill climbs. Alex Wolff is a member of the Boulder Creek Mountain Bike Club and has been competing for four seasons.

October road riding does not get better than this. The leaves are at their peak, the light has that warm late-afternoon glow, and there is just enough chill in the air to make a long ride feel effortless. 🍁🚴🍂

One tip worth thinking about for fall road rides: wet leaves on pavement can be surprisingly slippery, so give yourself a little extra braking distance and take corners a bit wider than usual. Stay safe and enjoy every mile of it. 🙌

🚲⚡ E-BIKE OWNERS — LET’S TALK ELECTRICAL PROBLEMS! 🔧

At Sunset Cyclery, we work on all kinds of e-bikes, and one thing we’ve learned is that not all e-bikes are created equal when it comes to diagnosing and repairing electrical issues!

With the growing number of e-bikes being purchased through Amazon and other online retailers, we’re seeing more bikes come through our doors with electrical problems that can be extremely challenging to diagnose.

⚡ Here’s why:

🔧 No Diagnostic Software: Unlike many established e-bike brands, numerous online-only bikes have no dedicated diagnostic tools or software available to bike shops. This can make identifying an electrical failure a lengthy process of testing and troubleshooting individual components.

📦 Limited Parts Availability: Sometimes the problem is relatively simple, but finding a compatible replacement controller, display, wiring harness, or sensor can be nearly impossible.

📞 Little to No Manufacturer Support: Some manufacturers offer very limited technical resources, wiring diagrams, or repair information. In certain cases, getting someone from the manufacturer to respond at all can be a challenge!

⏰ Time-Consuming Troubleshooting: Without proper diagnostic tools and manufacturer support, what seems like a simple electrical issue can turn into hours of troubleshooting, with no guarantee that the necessary parts are even available.

🚫 Sometimes a Repair Just Isn’t Possible: Unfortunately, there are situations where we can identify a likely problem but cannot obtain the parts or technical information needed to complete the repair.

💡 OUR ADVICE?

Before purchasing an e-bike online, consider more than just the price tag. Ask yourself:

✅ Can I get replacement parts?

✅ Does the manufacturer offer technical support?

✅ Is there a local bike shop that can service it?

✅ Will this company still support my bike a few years down the road?

A great deal on an e-bike isn’t always a great deal if you can’t get it repaired!

At Sunset Cyclery, we do our best to help customers with a wide variety of e-bike brands. However, we also believe in being upfront about the limitations of servicing bikes without manufacturer support.
