The Blarney Bassmasters Weekend Elite Series Championship is NEXT SUNDAY — September 20th!

IF ALL QUALIFIED TEAMS FISH, WE WILL HAVE OVER $13,000 IN PAYOUT.

After a season of early mornings, some brutal weather, and some seriously heavy Chain bags…

You must be registered and ready by 6:15am. We will have our rules meeting at that time. If your regular season partner cannot attend, we do permit fishing alone or with another person that has qualified. Boat numbers are determined by season points. Qualifiers and team entry fees are listed below.

Our Wednesday Night Circuit Championship is this SATURDAY, AUGUST 29th. You must be registered and ready to go by 5:50am. Tournament meeting will take place at that time and we will take off at safe light.

You must fish with your partner from the season that you qualified with if that option is available. If one team member cannot make it, you are permitted to fish alone or with another person that is in the same situation.

The qualifier list is attached. It includes take off order (determined by season points as always) and your entry fee. Entry is $120 per team plus $6 for each event missed.

We will be having a party inside Mulligan Harbor after the event. Food will be provided and we will be doing tournament and season awards inside as well.

It came down to the wire, quite literally 1 fish, but Jim Schmehl and Dave Linton held on to claim Team of the Year honors! Big congrats to them! 8.26 and Final YTD standings posted below. There will be a Championship qualifier list put out by this evening.

THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS THIS SATURDAY, AUGUST 29th. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR BOAT IN THE WATER AND BE READY BY 5:50AM. CHAMPIONSHIP ENTRY IS $120 PLUS $6 FOR EACH EVENT MISSED. AGAIN, THERE WILL BE A LIST PUBLISHED BY THIS EVENING WITH QUALIFIERS, BOAT NUMBER, AND YOUR TEAM ENTRY FEE.

And just like that, we are down to 1 week remaining in the Wednesday Nighters! With next week being a double down, things are going to get interesting in the Team of the Year race.

Our Classic is next SATURDAY, AUGUST 29th. More information will be posted about that next week.

8.5, 8.12, YTD. We only have 2 weeks left in the regular season! Seize the opportunity to fish! Any team with 10 or more tournaments fished can still qualify for the championship. You must fish a minimum of 15 events, everyone gets credit for the 2 missed due to flooding, and the last Wednesday is a double!

30 boats in our final regular season Blarney Weekend Elite.

Jimmy Schmehl and Dave Linton continued their hot streak, taking the W with 12.47lbs and a 4.47 kicker largemouth. Congrats Jimmy and Dave!

In 2nd are Zach and Mike Schmieglitz with 11.91.

Rounding out the top 3 are Josh Blough and Jeramie Hewkin with 11.74.

Full results and final YTD standings are posted below and on the website at blarneybassmasters.com. There will be a full Championship qualifier list posted by the end of this week. Based on draw and participation at the Championship, we are estimating $10k in the pot for that event!

Our last regular season Weekend Elite is this SUNDAY, August 9th. Tournament hours are Safelight-1:00pm. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AND READY BY 5:20am.

Entry fee is $300 per team (cash only). We’ve had great numbers this year and have a rapidly growing championship pot. Let’s finish the regular season on a high note!
