The clock is running, and the next Tennis Galaxy class cycle is coming up. If you haven’t registered yet, now’s the time: register for the next class cycle.

We’re not saying you need to rush. We’re just saying...

Don’t be Zverev.

We’ve all seen what happens when you use every second on the shot clock. And while we appreciate the drama, we’d rather not have you showing up for your usual class and discovering that you forgot to register for the new cycle.

A few quick reminders:
• New coaching team
• A few schedule adjustments
• New programming coming soon
• And, most importantly, more tennis

So check your schedule. Then register: https://app.courtreserve.com/Online/Portal/Index/7168.

And P.S.: If you can be like Zverev, definitely be like Zverev: consistency, wins, Grand Slam titles. Just don’t borrow his shot-clock strategy for registration.

Sometimes the best coaches start out as students.

We’re excited to welcome Coach Angel-lily, Coach Jack, and Coach Victoria to the Tennis Galaxy coaching team.

All three have been part of the Tennis Galaxy community as players, and now they’re ready to share their experience and knowledge with other players.

From Angel-lily, who started with Tennis Galaxy before she was even 10, to Jack’s experience as a Special Olympics champion and adaptive tennis player, to Victoria’s experience as a player, coach, corporate professional, and USTA employee, each brings something different to the court.

Three different paths. One Tennis Galaxy.

Register for the next cycle of classes that start the week of September 28: https://app.courtreserve.com/Online/Portal/Index/7168.

It’s time to say a fond farewell to two familiar faces at Tennis Galaxy.

We’re wishing Coach Tony and Coach Nicholas all the best as they head into their next chapters.

Tony is moving out of town, and Nicholas is focusing on college while pursuing new professional opportunities. Their contributions to Apopka’s tennis community have been tremendous, and they’ve shared countless hours of instruction, encouragement, competition, and fun with our players.

We’re grateful for everything they’ve brought to Tennis Galaxy, and they will definitely be missed.

Godspeed, Coaches!

Of course, every tennis community needs good coaches, so we’re also excited to welcome three homegrown Tennis Galaxy players to our coaching team. We’ll introduce them soon.

And if you’re coming back for the next class cycle, get registered here: https://app.courtreserve.com/Online/Portal/Index/7168.

A big shoutout to the students in our Shooting Stars class--a weekend program that combines coached training days with competitive tournament play--and all of our students who've been competing recently.

"We’re proud of these players for putting their training into action, challenging themselves, and representing Tennis Galaxy,” said Coach Tony Raney, lead coach for the program.

*New mayor, continued partnership, more tennis ahead.*

Mayor Nick Nesta campaigned earlier this year on open communication and building community partnerships, and within his first couple weeks in office, he met with our Tennis Galaxy leaders to talk about growing tennis opportunities in Apopka and supporting public health through physical activity.

We appreciate that Mayor Nesta also values physical health in his own life, stays active with his family and supports programs in the City of Apopka Government to help improve both physical and mental health. That connection matters when we talk about making recreation more accessible for families across .

We’re grateful for the continued communication, the strong relationship with the City, and the shared commitment to helping more people get moving.

Tennis balls may lose their bounce for class, but they can still have plenty of life left in them.

Tennis Galaxy recently donated about 1,500 used tennis balls to GROW Healthy Kids, a Sanford-based nonprofit helping kids stay active through regular physical activity.

The balls will be added to free recess kits for local elementary school teachers, giving them a second serve in the hands of students.

“We’re glad these balls will keep moving, support young people, and avoid going to waste,” said Coach Peter Fazekas, Tennis Galaxy’s Founder and Director of Coaching.
