This is so well said! While martial arts schools vary, we have always been very vocal about the differences.

To much ART, Not enough MARTIAL.

When you take out the Martial out of the martial arts....forget even sport competitions, your setting your students up for failure it when it comes to self defense.

If you're looking for a "Feel Good" martial arts school, and fast tracks to black belts for 8 year olds, we will happily point you to the nearest Mcdojo.

We are not politicians who will say what you want to hear If you want discipline, Self Esteem, and proven self-defense abilities, give us a call!

This is a blunt truth, that not many like to hear.

Whole respecting the "Art" side is important, forgetting the "Martial" side is no acceptable.

If you claim to teach self-defense, but do not have a realistic sparring component in your program, you are not preparing your students properly.
