Our young students first time sparring, can be both exciting, and terrifying at the same time! Knowing technique, how to punch, how to kick, and how to block are basics for any beginner!

However, learning how to use them in real time, range, distance, and, just as important, conditioning are skills that you can only develop properly through smart, through contact.

There is something special about watching a student get through their first round, finally realizing that they aren't as helpless as they think they are!

With all the dark clouds surrounding us over the last few days, there is definitely some light coming through!

Our Dojo family has been dealt an impossible loss. Our long time friend, mechanic, driver, and one of our biggest supporters has passed away.

Known affectionately by most of our students and family's as "Ninja Will", he was always great with the kids and family's. He was loved and welcomes by everyone who ever knew him.

He will be so sorely missed by not just our dojo family, but by everyone who's lives were made better by him being part of it.

We ask that you all say a prayer for our amazing friend, and remember the gratitude we all owe him, Cooperative Spirit would never have made it this far with him.

This is the man who was shot yesterday trying to break up a physical altercation following a traffic accident. He is a Man Who Lost His Life by simply trying to do the right thing, and keep other people safe.

He deserves to be honored by the Apopka community and anything you can do to help with his expenses will go a long way for his family.
