Girls Soccer Varsity district semifinal:
Waynedale 1, Cardinal Mooney 6.

The first 15 minutes were scoreless. It was cold, windy, and a slick turf. Cardinal Mooney got three goals on the board before halftime from a corner kick, a shot, and an own goal. Senior Madelynn Baney scored off a free kick in the second half to keep it within reach. Mooney scored a few in the last 5 minutes of the game while Waynedale pushed up. AJ Hochstetler finished with 12 saves.
