Reid has played a ton of different positions for our football team, and no matter where we’ve needed him, he has always been willing to step up and take on a new role to support his team and his teammates.

Reid plays to our standard of play on every snap, giving everything he has regardless of the circumstances. His versatility, selflessness, and willingness to do whatever the team needs are exactly what we want from a Golden Bear.

This week, the Waynedale family lost one of its greatest supporters with the passing of Harold Oswald.

For decades, Harold was a loyal fan and unwavering supporter of Waynedale athletics. Whether cheering from the stands, encouraging our student-athletes, or simply showing his pride in the Golden Bears, his presence was a constant reminder of what it means to be part of a community.

Harold’s dedication went far beyond attending games. He believed in our students, celebrated their accomplishments, and helped make Waynedale athletics special through his steadfast support over so many years.

On behalf of our coaches, student-athletes, and the entire Waynedale athletic community, we extend our deepest condolences to Harold’s family and friends. We are grateful for the countless memories he helped create and for the example he set of loyalty, generosity, and school spirit.

Thank you, Harold, for always believing in the Golden Bears. Your legacy will live on in our school and in the hearts of everyone whose lives you touched.

The Waynedale community mourns the loss of Harold Oswald. For as long as most people can remember Harold was in the bleachers, and behind the scenes supporting our student-athletes. His presence and positivity will be greatly missed by our coaching staff and players. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mellanie and the the rest of the family 🤎💛🤍
