We watch the greats and believe this will be some of our players one day in high school and beyond. We teach mental resilience. When we're behind, even by a lot, our players don't give up. Worst case we'll close the gap and our opponents will earn every point until the final buzzer. Best case, we win. It's happened! Congrats to the Knicks, coming up from behind 29 points to win last night!

Free throws often decide middle school games according to "Breakthrough Basketball", because the clock stops, defensive pressure eases, and teams can easily add critical points without giving up a fast break. Players at this level should strive for 60% free throw accuracy in games and 75% in practice when there's less pressure to perform. Practicing free throws refines shooting form.

Hardwood Hustle, Premier Level yesterday, we were up against some of the best talent we've seen all year and we were challenged. This was one of those tournaments where our players increase their Basketball IQ, develop mental resilience, besides raising their play level. So much incredible team work! Proud of our players placing third out of 8 teams!

PLAYER HIGHLIGHT:
Happy Birthday to one of our AAU players, #6 Oliver! (His feeder school is Little Chute). Oliver is fast and scrappy, as you can see in the pics, and puts up a significant amount of points every tournament. A great player who has improved significantly all AAU season. Oliver, have a great day!

Our strategic offense!!! #8 is an offensive force. In Next Level One Day Tournament he scored between 21 - 33 points every game. Yes, we train our players on their endurance, ball handling & shooting skills. They must maintain a positive attitude and we will work with them on basketball I.Q. and mental resilience. This group doesn't give up in a game. We're so proud of them all!

Defense may not always get the glory, but our defense has prevented our opponents from scoring while we come up from behind to win.Check out #9 who is often involved in great defensive plays.
