SAMHAIN PUJA CIRCLE is an epic annual event to honor the deceased, our ancestors, and the cycle of life and death. Equal parts festive and somber, there’s opportunity for crafts, mask decorating, and games before a meditation on death, an altar to honor lost loved ones, and chanting around a fire puja to hold space for grief, clear ourselves of burden, and to make way for transformation. Featuring Lord Shiva in a starring role!

Invite your friends 👻 spread the word! 🧙‍♀️

Contemplations as we prepare for our annual Samhain Puja Circle guided by Laura Cherry. On October 31, we’ll honor the deceased, our ancestors, and the cycle of life and death with a fire puja, meditation, chanting, and so so much more. 🍂

THE BIG SIT is a chance for our meditation community to sit together in person. Similar to our 30-minute meditation classes in structure, the Big Sit gives us more time for dharma, practice, and conversation. This one will be lead by Haiyan with the theme TOUCHING THE PRESENT MOMENT. Join us!

What is yoga?

Tonight at Dharma Club, we’ll start there and explore some of the other big questions around this practice we love. Why do we practice? What is yoga for? How has our understanding of it changed over time?

No prep needed. Just come curious.

Thursday, October 1 | 7:35–9:00 p.m.

PILGRIMAGE COMPLETE! Last week 14 of us walked 150+ kilometers to Santiago de Compostela in Spain, a sacred pilgrimage site for hundreds of years.

Not pictured:: our closely held intentions. Blisters. Morning meditations. Fresh squeezed orange juice, lots of it. Bandaged knees. So much laughter. Waking and walking before the sun rose. A million small moments of support. WhatsApp jokes and mishaps. A deeper understanding of surrender.

Thanks to all who helped us commemorate our 15th year with this tremendous undertaking and thank you most of us to Haiyan for showing us the power of a walk. 🐾
