Thoroughbred Classic Horse Show

🌟🏇🏻 Hall of Fame Jockey, Kent Desormeaux, is one of the jockeys who will be competing tonight at the 6:30 PM in the Racehorse Relay benefitting @CARMA4Horses. 🤝 Race track riders will team up with show jumpers to raise money for Thoroughbred Aftercare. 📍 6:30 PM | @theLAEC Teams of 2️⃣ riders, including at least one jockey, racehorse trainer, or racetrack personnel. Each team member will compete over a course set at approximately .65m-.80m, and their times and scores will be combined to determine the winner. Founded in 2007, California Retirement Management Account (CARMA) provides funding for the retirement of California-raced Thoroughbred horses and serves as an educational resource for the public and racing community. 🫶 📷 @lindseylongequinephotography

🤝 Two sports came together for an incredible cause in the Racehorse Relay to Benefit CARMA 🏇🏻 at MNF Charity Horse Show & Christmas Market, Featuring the Thoroughbred Classic, Presented by @GGT_Footing! 🌟 The dynamic duo of Jockey Abdul Alsagoor and MNF Grant Recipient Zacko Hardin took the win for the second year in a row. 🥈 Second place honors went to French jockey Cesar Belmont 🇫🇷 paired with MNF Grant Recipient Paris Mahoney 🥉 The third place award went to former rider and Santa Anita safety steward, Dave Neusch teamed with Jenna Meyers. 💙 We appreciate everyone who took part in this class and helped raise awareness for CARMA’s mission of supporting retired racehorses. 🎥 Zoe Metz Media + Brooke Goddard Media
